The administrative portion of the Medical Assistant program emphasizes the front office skills required in a health care setting, while the clinical portion of the course is designed to prepare the student to work in a clinical environment in a hospital, doctor’s office or medical clinic and includes a 160-hour, 4-week externship.

Students will acquire satisfactory skills and demonstrate competence in Radiographic examinations to be performed under the scope of the permits of Chest, Extremities and Torso-skeletal categories.

You will acquire satisfactory medical assisting skills and demonstrate competence of clinical skills in injections, venipuncture and electrocardiography.

The program consists of a didactic (classroom) and clinical education (externship).
