Phlebotomy Training Specialists offers students the flexibility of choosing to complete the phlebotomy program classes during daytime, evening, or weekend hours.
The program is open to students who are at least 18 years of age, and who have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma.
The school does not require students to have prior healthcare training or experience.
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development – Office for Career and Technical Schools approves the phlebotomy program at Phlebotomy Training Specialists.
Phlebotomy Training Specialists students have a 92 percent first time pass rate on the national exam.
Courses Offered
Students complete 48 hours of didactic in-class phlebotomy training.

Students learn about performing blood draws and providing transfusions, assisting people who have adverse reactions to blood draws or transfusions, and maintaining, tracking, and storing blood samples for delivery.

The program trains students in phlebotomy safety measures and HIPAA laws.
